It did not happen just to you.
I advocate a scorched earth policy. It is simple It will work. One year ago this website was averaging 12,000 page views per month. I have not written a word since last January and a month ago I unpublished all 271 posts because I came by that information by waging the most difficult campaign of my life. No one seemed to care. They visited my free website and left and I don 't know if I helped or not. I am still averaging 5,000 page views per month. There has been nothing on my website to find. Why?
My plan was to collaborate with others fighting their foreclosures and work together. Build a large and powerful organized group with a strong voice. Instead I spent all of my available cash and I have had to divert my efforts to restoring my capabilities for continuing.
I can't quit. Fannie Mae "foreclosed" on $2.5 million worth of multi-family investment property that I built. I did not have a loan on any of it.
My house was taken by GMAC Mortgage, LLC. That entity did not exist then or now. I paid $73,000 down. GMAC Mortgage, LLC loaned nothing. My loss after ten years of ownership was $156,000. My loss was $156,000 plus my family. GMAC sold my house for half of its value. But, their profit was 100% of that sale. Someone is going to pay.
The same thing happend to all of you.
I know what was wrong with your deal. I know the simple version of who is to blame.
